Finger Ring depicting King Akhenaten and Queen Nefertiti as Shu and Tefnut

Egyptian
This ring was found at Amarna. The hieroglyphs may be read as an ideogram. The two seated figures are probably Akhenaten (left) and Nefertiti (right) as the deities Shu (air as indicated by the feather he holds) and Tefnut (moisture). They were father and mother of the earth and sky, which are symbolically represented by the earth hieroglyph (below) and by the sun disk flanked by two sacred cobras (above).

Manifesting History
My process starts with curating museum collections to find interesting pieces of jewelry and art to recreate.
I digitalize original pieces into exact 3d models. My careful replicas are then 3d printed in wax.
One Ring at a Time
I use lost wax casting in order to fabricate a ring in metal. It's a technique with a history dating back at least 6500 years. All items are cast in precious metal, stamped and hand-finished here in the USA.
Brass and silver pieces are usually stocked and ship in 1-3 days.
Gold jewelry is usually cast to order and ships in 2-3 weeks.
The sterling silver copy of a gold ancient Egyptian ring in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the so-called ‘Nefertiti’ ring, is beautiful and beautifully crafted. I am enormously pleased.
