Viking Open Ring Brooch

Reproduction of a 9th century viking open ring brooch. Originally silver, part of the Karlby Hoard.

The pin freely rotates about the circular ring, it can be lifted and placed in the center hole in order to open or close the brooch.

1 3/4" diameter at the thinnest points. Brooch pin measures about 2 3/4" long.
